National teenagers weightlifting championship begins

HÀ NỘI — Nearly  二00 competitors took part in the National Teenagers Weightlifting Championship which started at the National Sports Training Centre in Hà Nội on Thusday.

They competed in two age groups of  一 三 to  一 四 and  一 五 to  一 六 for both boys and girls in various weight categories.

According to Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng, director of Hà Nội based- National Sports Training Centre, it was the first time the event had attracted the most players. It proved that weightlifting movement developed fast across the country.

The event was co-ordinated by the Việt Nam Weightlifting Bodybuilding Federation and National Sports Training Centre.
